I feel like having a morning routine sets the tone for the day. I specifically want to highlight realistic because I cannot always accomplish it. After all, life does happen, but when I am able I gets it done girlaaa!
Make bed soon as I get out of it
Shower routine (check out my other blog on shower routines)
Skincare routine (check out the blog for facial routine)
Tea time and vitamins
Prayer; spends time with God giving thanks, etc
Say Affirmations
If this is a work day, I continue by getting dressed for work making sure I have everything I need like grabbing lunch if it's packed and heading out the door, ready to conquer the day!
"Non-work day" I am home in my space so after the shower I like to put on pajamas. I believe "if you look good you'll feel good" so make sure you invest in your pajamas ladies. After we've picked out our pajamas we're headed downstairs for tea or coffee, I am a tea girl, so tea it is (tea recommendations and benefits). Back upstairs, in my office space and it's time to journal and write in a diary.
I like to start my morning off "soft". Not once during that time did I touch my phone. I like to get all the time alone before I consume with the outside world. It sounds weird but it's real and it helps. Living in today's world can be so overwhelming and just too much for 8 AM when the body isn't fully awake yet on its self. So, PUT THE PHONE DOWN AT LEAST YOUR FIRST HOUR AND a HALF OFF THE WAKE-UP!! If it's important enough for someone to connect with you, they'll know how to reach you.
